LG G3 wifi problems and more

I've had my G3 for 18 months now and over the past 4 weeks I've had problems with the wifi dropping and reconnecting again. I tried the tips from people I found on other websites but nothing cured the problem. Usually I would forget the wifi and then reconnect to it. That would usually work for a few hours, but then it would drop again.
Around the same time my SD card would unmount too. I originally put that down to it being old, so I bought a new one, but again, same problem. I've not been using one since.
Yesterday the battery drained itself within a couple of hours and the phone failed to connect to any wifi at all.
In fact it kept resetting itself and I had to take the battery out so it could turn on again.
Late last night I did a factory reset hoping that would cure the problem, but nope, still not connecting to any wifi.
Anyone heard of these issues? Think I'm going to have to take it to a repair shop.

The LG G3 is the first phone I've had serious hardware issues with. My phone is currently at the 'LG service centre' having had a complete breakdown 11 months into me owning it. It's having a whole new motherboard installed.
The G3 is a troubled phone.. maybe give LG a call http://www.lg.com/uk/support0 -
Possibly a battery issue, try replacing. If it's voltages are unstable or low this could perhaps account for the behaviour.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0

It wouldn't be under warranty though now?
Yes it could well be the battery, I usually have to charge it twice a day on a good day...0 -
I have read online about a host of issues being caused by a dodgy battery.
I've got this as a spare - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NHVD1GY0 -
I'll buy a new battery and see how that goes.0

New battery came today and still nothing has improved. Can't connect to wifi at all now. There is a lot of posts with similar issues that blames the lollipop 5.0 update, and there are yet no plans or date for 5.01. If this is the case what am I supposed to do?!0
