Donor Accounts

So as many of you probably have seen, theres quite a few accounts with switching bonuses being offered at the moment.

I'm looking to cash in on these offers and need donor accounts to open. Ideally I don't want to open too many accounts that require a credit check.

So I've been looking at Metro Bank - Cash account, Co-op Cashminder, Barclays Basic Account.

Am I right in thinking many of the basic accounts being offered require some form of a credit check?

Or if anyone knows of any others? Does smile.co.uk account require a check aswell?

Also, the incentive from Yorkshire bank is for £150 if you switch. However I currently have a CB already. I know they are basically the same 'brand' as a bank but can I still switch an account to YB to gain the £150 bonus? The reason I ask is in the T&C it says:

"If you have already taken advantage of a previous £150 switching offer from us, either on your own or with a joint account, since
the 17th of November 2014, you can’t benefit from this offer."

So if i've received this from CB, am I not entitled to this offer from YB also?

I have previously opened loads with CB AND YB. They consider themselves separate Banks, so you should be OK

You and I switched under the version 2 T&Cs. They tightened up from version 3 onwards so the poster cannot get another £150 now.

Ok so, no £150 from YB, thank you both for letting me know. But there are still good offers from other bank providers.

Any recommendations on some donor accounts?
