Incorrect Address

So when I was 18 I moved in with my (horrible) Ex-Boyfriend. He had terrible credit, so I took out a mobile phone contract with o2 for him in my name (terrible mistake, I know). He then rung up a very expensive phone bill which i couldn't afford and refused to pay on his behalf.
He told me he sorted it and that I wasn't to worry about it and I didn't hear anything since from o2.
5 years later... I've recently signed up to a few site to keep a check on my credit rating and I noticed on only one of my reports an address that I have never lived at - but this address seems to be the childhood home of my ex boyfriend and the information has been passed on by O2 in 2011. It looks to me like he changed the address to avoid paying the debt, but he (or his parents) hadn't lived at that address for years!!!!
I obviously want to get this address off my credit report but I'm worried about how this will affect me?
Any advice would be great!

Legally, you took out the contract, therefore you need to pay it.💙💛 💔0

I'm not disputing that I need to pay it - it's the fact my ex redirected the debt to an address that has nothing to do with me (I had no idea) and how will I be affected by him doing so.0

If your on the electoral roll at your correct address then dont worry about it, No CCJ's on your file is there?
Just the debt showing? As mentioned above its your debt it will never be his unless you pay it and then take him to court to pay you.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Been at this address for 5 years now and voted, on the electoral roll, no ccjs or anything that - the debt isn't even showing on my reports and would happily re-pay any debts.
I'm more concerned about being linked to this address - if I dispute it will it cause problems? I'm currently saving for a mortgage and would hate for it to have an affect on any applications0
