Barclaycard PPI claim

I have 2 Barclaycards which I took out in 1995 with PPI insurance. I was given a form to fill in and ticked the box for PPI.
I have contacted Barclaycard after I got a letter regarding the AI scheme.
I rang them tonight to see if they had received the info I had sent.
I was told 2 letters are on their way to me saying they rejected my claim as the their records do not go back far enough to prove I wasn't advised properly when the cards were taken out. From memory I wasn't advised at all as the leaflets were sent back in the post.
Anyone else had this? I will wait for the letters to arrive and see whar they actually say.

Which works against you as it means no-one sold it to you. You chose to have it. You would be reliant on a failure in the documentation in a case like this.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
