Looking for a longer charging cable for Kindle HD tablet - seems it is just a normal micro-usb to usb cable - is this correct? and I don't need to buy something branded as kindle compatible.

the longest good quality cables I have come across are the ones supplied with the amazon fire stick , quite long and seem to be well made
they are probably this length because they have to reach between a TV and a 13a socket.
