Lloyds Sucess (sort of)

I made a claim with Lloyds for a packaged account I'd had since the early to mid 90's to 2006.

Within 24 hours they'd called me and agreed it had been mis-sold to me and made a payment of £976.

My problem is they've said they can only go as far back as 2001 and can't see the records before that.

Does that sound right to you? I've emailed them to say I'm unhappy they're refusing anything before 2001 and feel they should pay out from earlier. I am now waiting for a response.

Thanks for your help

If they are saying they don't have records going back further, then it's difficult to see you being offered any more unless you have your own statements from the period in question..
