in my opinion anyone who reply's to a person's question where money ,savings, and banks is the topic then they are in effect offering financial advice or am i wrong?
You are indeed wrong. Financial advice is an FCA regulated activity. Nobody on MSE, not even the founding editor, is qualified to give financial advice. MSE specifically specify on each forum page "This info does not constitute financial advice".

Financial Advisors do not give advice for current accounts.

I would try switching for the £150 if nothing else particularly if you have no savings in the Santander 123 which in my book is the only reason to keep it. That is a lot more than the £36 you will be earning with the new fee over the year. Or you could earn 3% cashback on bills with Nat West and there is no reason why you need to keep your current account with your mortgage provider.
