BTRS (Brain Tumour Research & Support) is delighted to welcome back Flat Cap Friday, as part of Brain Tumour Awareness Month in March. The flat cap is the iconic hat of Yorkshire and as a Yorkshire-based charity BTRS wants to emphasise its connection to its home the county that it support. BTRS is encouraging all of its supporters to host their own Flat Cap Friday event with friends, family and work colleagues. Your event can be as simple or as extravagant as you want it to be, from organising an afternoon tea with friends (don’t forget to make some Yorkshire Parkin), to having a dress-down day at work where all members of the team come to the office sporting a flat cap.
