Post office home insurance

Hi
I have just been taken in by the post office's claim to beat any home insurance quote by £50. I am already regretting it, partly because I have just looked on this forum and discovered that they are rubbish and partly because they are making it as difficult as possible to claim.
The welcome letter they sent says that I should see the enclosed leaflet for details of how to claim. Predictably there wasn't a leaflet. There is no email address, the FAQ section just gives me an error message so I tried calling. Guess what - they are experiencing a very high number of callers at the moment so it may take some time to answer my call. I gave up in frustration..
I'd be very grateful if anyone could tell me the address that I have to send my previous renewal quote to in order to claim.
Thanks!

Why don't you just call them and wait on the line?

They're having high call volumes due to the amount of storm claims etc. Your claim obviously isn't an emergency if you're considering writing it in, so why not try calling them just after they open?

If you write in to claim to the renewal address, your mail won't be reaching the correct department, and will take even longer to process.
