Hi
my son was rushed into hospital 22/12/2015 and had emergency surgery for twisted bowel etc.
According to the consultant he will never be able to do strenuous activity or lifting again neither will he be able to stand for long periods. Also that this will be a re occurring life long problem. He also will have a restrictive diet .
What benefits would he be entitled to and can he be designated disabled?
thanks
Ian

You don't give anything like enough information for anyone to even hazard a guess at a reply.Master Apothecary Faranell replied, “I assure you, overseer, the Royal Apothecary Society dearly wishes to make up for the tragic misguidance which ended so many lives. We will cause you no trouble. We seek only to continue our research in peace".0

These are the 2 disability benefits.
If you think he meets the descriptors apply.0 -
How old is he?
If he's been working, will he be able to return to his previous job?
That's for starters, but there's nothing automatic linking a condition to being able to claim a particular benefit and / or being disabled!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Hi
thanks for the reply
He has been working as a shelf stacker for ASDA. He cannot for medical reasons return to his existing physical job as he is dysfractic so is unable to read/write with any speed or accuracy so would not be able to work on a till.
Not sure if Asda will be able to find him a job just searching for info
thanks
