Hi ,I am looking to open another current account , this time with Santander.
Do I need to close my existing current account ( not with Santander) and if not can I transfer some, not all, DD.
Will Santander allow this.

Most banks don't offer a partial switch service. You should ask Santander whether they do. If they don't, you can move the relevant DDs and SOs yourself after the new account is open.0

You do realise that you can have more than one current account though?:o
You don't have to close, or switch your existing current account but many banks will offer you an incentive if you do. :beer:0
