  • Thank you so much for your replies guys

Out of my depth a bit on this as never had anything like it happen before...while I accept accidents happen I believe its how you deal with the aftermath thst defines you.

Had missed call from company just now and bingo an invoice email sent within 15 minutes afterwards less than 24 hrs after completion.

Will do as advised and withhold monies til fixed but can I insost on a third party fixing it? I dont trust them not to get a bodger in....also will I be ok insisting on email contact only? I don't want the hard sell given on the phone (unwell undergoing treatment at the moment) can I subtract anything for inconvenience? Time lost through needing to be here for repairs and emptying room etc...?
  • Told company seeking quotes and emailed them photographs
  • That's a photo of the patched up area.

    Album of damages shown here

I've been round outside and in the airing cupboard...there are damage debris and rubbish everywhere

Added the new photos to my parents to my photobucket

Is this workmanship in the cupboard acceptable? Im not a tradesman but the loose flex looks dangerous....

    Advice appreciated x
