Cain's groundbreaking 1930's novel (also the basis of both the 1946 film starring Lana Turner and John Garfield and the 1981 film starring Jack Nicholson and Jessica Lange). THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE will open at the Playhouse Theatre in London for a strictly limited 10 week season, with performances from 24 May 2005. Charlotte Emmerson co-stars as 'Cora' and Lucy Bailey directs this critically acclaimed West Yorkshire Playhouse production.
