What's the best way of book Portaventura?

Hi guys,

I would like to take me and my daughter to Portaventura for a long weekend in the the summer holidays (i'm looking at 05-08 Aug) and i'm wondering what the best and cheapest way is to go about booking it?

I'd preferably like to fly from Southend or Stanstead with an early departure flight (around 8am) and a fairly late return home flight (6pm-ish).

Their main site says of prices around £700 which incs flights, 4 star hotel and park tickets.

Many thanks in advance!

Book your flights with the airline directly, then book the hotel direct with PortAventura.

Depending on which airport you fly into you could then get the train to PortAventura (via Barcelona) or you could just book a cheap transfer via Hoppa or A2B.

Sometimes the online travel agents offer the PortAventura hotels but they don't always have tickets included and are usually the first ones to be bumped out should they overbook.

11:40am is a little late for my liking.

The best price I've found is with Travel Republic at £733 which allows you to pay a deposit plus the flight times suit me perfect.

If you can beat that i'd be happy to listen!

Make sure you read the property description properly to ensure it does include park tickets. Also bear in mind, travel republic, do not have a live system as such. Normally they're not too bad, but on occasions you may get a flight quote and then find that the price has gone up and you get a phone call asking you to pay more a day or so after booking. If that's the case you can cancel and get a full refund but it will take a few days for it to come back into your account.
