Sorry Spinkz, I don't know the reason you can't do it but it's fab you sponsor other people.
Personally I haven't done this for sponsorship, and haven't asked anyone to sponsor me (although I might encourage my other half to donate).
It's more an achievement thing for me... one more thing ticked off my bucket list... and also part of my Year of Fun 2016. I might post about that separately :j:beer:

I'm doing it too! 12th June as well. The least runner person you could ever meet. However, I thought I should do some prep and I'm in week 4 of couch to 5k and surpringly enjoying the little achievements at the end of each run.
Apparently our local RfL is so packed every year that no one actually runs it - there's only space to walk!Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I have a race for life coming up on 2nd July. I have done some of the couch to 5k training but slacked off a bit recently due to an injury. Fingers crossed I can make it to the finish line :-)0

I did my first RFL on Sunday just gone. It's was absolutely chucking it down with rain and very muddy.
I did the 10k in 57 minutes which I am chuffed with. All that training paid off!:DMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0
