No have you ever thought to read the post, Paypal is not just paid via a credit or debit card, you can and many people do have it setup to take via a direct debit, that ain't magic its a fact.Archi_Bald wrote: »Are you suggesting Paypal can magic money out of current accounts without using a direct debit?
Maybe you should look at your Paypal account especially where you add your bank account details check it out by clicking the link below.
1. Adding a bank account & setting up Direct Debit
The benefit of setting up Direct Debit with PayPal is that you will also be able to pay for your eBay items direct from your bank account, rather than through your debit card or credit card. Setting up Direct Debit usually takes between 3-5 days to be processed and need be completed once only. 0 -

I'm glad that reality is much more simple than the theory of reality.
Am intrigued about setting up more than one direct debit on a single Tesco Internet saver though.
Presumably if each mandate has a different code then one could set up all 4 DD's to Co-op on one Tesco Internet Saver account?0 -
The bank only sees 4 direct debits on the account nothing more they have no means of differentiating who they are for as direct debits have a code telling the system that is is one so do not worry about codes.Yorkshire_Pud wrote: »I'm glad that reality is much more simple than the theory of reality.

As long as 4 are paid in the period you will receive an email telling you what you have earned including card payments.
Also if it is a joint account both cards register for the 5p per purchase as again the system does not know whose card made the purchase.0 -
Also at present the are no plans to put this into the online banking even on future releases.
It may happen it may not but it will be after the new platform has gone live.0 -
May be you should just accept that quite a few people on here might have a heck of a lot more experience and knowledge about Direct Debits than you have.Peterknows wrote: »No have you ever thought to read the post, Paypal is not just paid via a credit or debit card, you can and many people do have it setup to take via a direct debit, that ain't magic its a fact.

Most will not have a clue about Direct Debit Indemnities and how to process them oddly I do.
Anyone ?
Did you click the link by the way.0 -
You are free to doubt whatever you like but rest assured, people on here have been doing Direct Debits for many years already. This includes Direct Debits involving Paypal, and I don't need you to teach me anything about using Paypal for DDs, or how Paypal pulls money out of current accounts.Peterknows wrote: »Somehow I rather doubt that.:D
