I suppose not many people will be aware or, if aware, willing to take the matter up with Santander for the matter of £3. As you say, the lawyers will have it covered...somewhere. Your experience suggests that people who do raise the matter will get an ex gratia payment.0

The £3 isn't the issue. The issue is over charges being applied retro-actively. That is cheeky at best.0
