Usually they sell the debt on or the supplier may be contracting different debt collectors.
Call blockers are the easier option - as the other ones all have varying degrees of success. Might not be the best option though if you use that number for business though. If you have a separate number for business then that removes that drawback. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Why would someone be surprised when you answered the phone?
Exactly the reason for the calls is totally unknown, 0018 number which i think is Bagladesh, the call was 4am UK time.
0018136##### and 0088018 (same numbers as the previous one)
Many many calls a day when they started, there was an issue in the same town as me where a solictors office made similar calls, but it turned out to be a scam with an international number spoofing their number and making random calls but the reason was unknown.
Very strange and this guy didnt know what to say, so very odd why they are calling. Call blocker sorted it anyway.
I really would like to know why though.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

You can block 1000 individual numbers and you can choose the type of calls you want to block such as mobile, international, withheld, unknown or payphone numbers. You can even block numbers by area code or suffix.0
