Surely your employer only "recognises" one or two unions? Why not speak to colleagues or check with HR.
Tbh, you've not had any responses as you've posted in the wrong subforum and have provided very little info.0 -

I would say UNITE as they have a finance arm and a general side. Otherwise maybe GMB?0

seems unnecessarily harsh - as less than 30 minutes after the OP !The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
I joined the most popular one in my workplace - Unison.
I knew who my rep would be too so knew how easy to contact they can be.0 -
hi I work in the vehicle remarketing industry and they do not recognise a union. And i realised that i posted it in the wrong part of the forum almost as soon as i wrote it
Many thanks to those who have posted, i think unite is the way to go0 -

Would that be up-selling the position of a secondhand car salesman ?Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

To give me piece of mind and if the poop hits the fan at work I can get advice from my union. Just because my work place doesn't recognise a union doesn't mean I shouldn't join one. HR departments aren't the place to go for advice as they are for the employer rather than the employee.0
