Hi all,
Hope you can help - looking for a savings account to solely put wedding funds in - about £300pcm.
We currently have a 123 account and a Santander ISA in joint names - preferably would want this with another bank to keep it separate.
Any recommendations?

TSB current account pays 5% interest on first £2000.....you could both have one each plus a joint account....one of the best about at the moment
Savings accounts pay poor interest at the moment so its all about current accounts0 -

Thanks,
Looked at their site and you have to deposit £500pcm..Interest paid monthly. Pay in min £500/month, register for Internet Banking, Paperless Statements and Paperless Correspondence0 -

you could transfer in £500 and transfer it back out again if it will leave you short. That way you fulfill that requirement......if it sounds like hassle set up a standing order one way and back again the next day and then you wont need to worry about it as it will be automatic every month.0 -
You could even take £500 out and then put it back in again.littlej0hn wrote: »you could transfer in £500 and transfer it back out again0 -
The top rate for £300 p.m. is 6% offered by FD Regular Saver.0

I'd get that ISA money earning 5% in TSB and Nationwide and then feed it to the 5% regular saver attached to each. Even if you pay tax at 40%, are you getting 3% on your ISA?0
