If they have to post then they should create their own post or ideally private message unless of course the company blocks anyone from posting or messaging then there is no choice. This should of course be the very last resort.Comping from May 2012

Thank you to all that post & contribute, I think you are wonderful, I could not achieve without your help

I have lost count of how many times a person on here has complained they have not received a prize, and people replying post a message on their TW/Facebook page.................“I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.” - Billy Joel

I'm in the middle on this. Seeing the mardy posts in places you wouldn't expect annoys me too but I agree with tinker15, that there probably are some cases in which it is the last avenue the complainer has the opportunity to go down in their attempt to resolve their problem.
What I dislike are goodwill gestures. Companies should fix the problem and no more in most cases. I'd happily accept late delivery if it meant I got a free voucher in addition to receiving my product (eventually). I feel many complainers highly exaggerate their "inconvenience" in the knowledge they can push the company to give them freebies.0 -
And then there's the companies that ambush their own competitions - see this tweet from Morrisons to a woman who was just trying to enter one of their comps! :rotfl:
