Hi all
Wonder if anyone can help me? I am going to uni in September to study an arts based course (Designed Metalwork & Jewellery), and have recently recieved a brief for a summer project, used as the basis for the first piece of work done on the course. Unfortunately, having been out of the education system for 3 years, I've forgotten a lot of what I studied, and am having issues remembering exactly what I'm supposed to be doing with this...
My brief says:
Please collect six objects, three should be organic (i.e. have grown or be part of a growing organism) and three should be man made.
You should record and analyse the objects you have chosen two dimensionally.
To help you select your objects and focus your drawing:
I'm having difficulties with Form and Structure - I have a vague memory of one of them being to do with the way an object is made up, but to be honest, I haven't a clue! So if any of you nice recent A-level students, current art students, or anyone who knows, could help me, I'd be really really really greatful.

To help you select your objects and focus your drawing:
- Select a suitable object from your collection and draw its FORM
- Select a suitable object from your collection and draw its STRUCTURE
- Select a suitable object from your collection and draw its SURFACE
- Select a suitable object from your collection and draw its COLOUR
- Draw your last two objects however you like, but concentrate on one of the above criteria - FORM, STRUCTURE, SURFACE, or COLOUR.
