Unless you can get a minimum of 10,000 signatures, it won't even be passing under David's eyes (or any of his minions for that matter).
Even Barry Beavis' petition has ground to a halt - well short of 8,000 signatures after a whole two months of quite heavy 'marketing' on a number of parking media platforms. So if that is floundering I don't hold out great hopes for yours - sorry.
Pretty good for 2 months, the deadline is 13 May 2016
so 4 months to go to get just 2.400 more and that will happen

I wouldn't worry about it. It went off half-c0ck and never appeared. It was doomed to fail from the outset - it needed 10,000 signatures for anyone in authority just to look at it.
Even the petition started by Barry Beavis has become becalmed on 7,800 signatures. It may struggle across the finish line by its time deadline in May - but that's only going to get it 'a Government response' not the desired 'considered for debate in Parliament' - that will require 100,000 signatures. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
