Hello Skystar,
Yes you did read right, I did say to them that being a bank holiday maybe it might take a bit longer to show. I have not had a reply as yet from the e-mail saying that they did not offer this service. But in that e-mail I stated what account number, ref and sort code I used. I also stated that this was the information given to me by their helpline. I will check tomorrow afternoon and see if it's there if not I will ring them again.
Thanks for all help givenThanks for any help and advice given

Just updating what's happened.
Have had a letter today from Freemans saying the following:
Why Freemans don't advertise this method of payment ...
Your telebanking payment will not currently be credited to your Freemans ageny automatically. Our bank sends us a list of payments, and we manually input each amount separately. Many of our agents have customers of their own, so we need to check each agency to tell which customer account the payment is for. This can delay the payment, risking the accounts falling into arrears. We are developing new technology, which will update accountsautomatically, but until it is finished we cannont accept large volumes of this type of payment. We will promote the service widely once we are able to update automatically.
So they have given me the right information on the helpline but it won't show on my account for a while. Just seems a little strange with all the technology about that they are so behind on this. Also I do not have customers anymore so they only have to credit it just against my name, they don't have to sort through to see who's paid what.
Oh well at least I know I have not lost the money and have to try and trace it.Thanks for any help and advice given
