Lost Delivery by Boots

The legal beagles case was under the Sale of Goods Act - which included the phrase "Where the seller wrongfully neglects or refuses to deliver the goods to the buyer...". The judge appeared to rule that for a lost parcel this wasn't the case. The new Consumer Rights Act includes no such provision.0

I wrote to Boots asking them to try and locate the parcel - they did try and discovered it had left the depot on an internal delivery vehicle but did not arrive at the store. They have now added points to my advantage card to the value of £50.00 because they said this was 'unacceptable service'.Totally debt free since 2010 :j
