yes there is a twist in the tail , google london mint , in fact search this forum, you will be plagued with "samples" for years , all of which need returning ,

"only" 250,000 being sold and as it's only 1 per household, that's a quarter of a million new targets for the London Mint company to start sending unwanted and unordered coins.

The Battle of Britain coin may well be free but it probably costs pennies to manufacture and this cost will be more than covered by the £2.50 delivery charge.

And as pointed out by Pappa golf, once they have your details, expect to start getting unordered coins delivered to you for your approval.

I've done this before and never had an issue. I received a medal and never heard from them again.
