Transfering current Kodi set up from an android box to an Amazon Fire Stick-help??!

Hi-I've got a great set up on an android box. I want to transfer this complete set up with all programmes, add-ons, etc to a fire stick for a friend.
The box has a USB slot for a flash drive, the Fire TV Stick has no USB slot. I've got ADB fire on my main PC & can download ES file explorer to main PC if needed (although both these progs are a little confusing!).
Can someone tell me in 'baby' language how to back up & store my current config & load to the Fire Stick? I'm aware how to load APK files onto a fire stick with ABD fire but as my PC is a bit old & ADB is a bit 'buggy' it sometimes takes a few attempts.
I know the easiest thing to do would be to download a pre-configured set up such as TVMC but it runs on a slightly earlier version of Kodi & some of the add-ons are out of date. Any advice in baby steps?. I'm also aware of what needs turning on/off on the Fire Stick menu before an apk file is sideloaded.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance if you can help. I have googled/you tubed but they're all too 'techy' & I don't quite understand them!

Thanks-you've helped me before! Ok....so I go to backup on by Android box (which has a USB slot)-do I back up to a flash drive...then copy to main PC (or just leave on flash drive & navigate to it)...then install a fresh version of Kodi on the new stick.....then after putiing new sticks IP adress etc in on ADB-just click the 'restore' button & that should automatically update the new Kodi with all my present add-ons & configuration?
Also....is there any easy way to turn off Amazon updates on the stick? Again...you tube/google make it look really hard!0 -
you can do a backup and restore using ADBFire , AFTER you have installed the same version of kodi on the firestick ,
do the backup directly to your computer , and restore from your computer , no usb pans neededSave a Rachael

I open backup program and set the parameters .
Backup to usb .
Open Kodi on other product install backup set parameters .
Restore .0 -
however the firestick has not got a USB port , might be hard , hence the suggestion of ADBFire and the backup /restore method by cable(from the android box if fitted) to the firestick by wifiSave a Rachael

So...just to be 100% sure....use USB cable to attach box to main PC (or transfer to flash stick & copy to main PC)....use back-up programme from Android box....save back up to PC.....load same Kodi version on empty Firestick....then use the 'restore' key on ADB directly via WIFI to Fire Stick?
Just to clarify...this will be a complete clone/copy of the original with all programs/add ons etc EXACTLY the same?
Thanks again for your kind help. :beer:0 -
connect android box by either wifi or cable , launch ADBFire , set network ID , run backup
disconnect android box
connect aFiire and do setting within fire , launch ADBfire , set network ID , install kodi , then run restore from the previous backup folder
no USB or flashdrives are usedSave a Rachael
