Hi,
Could someone explain this offer?
Credit card was from 2000-2003
Offer is a 'redress' offer???
What is this?
Details .....
Refund of PPI £430.01
interest of premiums £154.57
Statutory interest £23.98
Less tax £4.87
Is this offer a correct one?
I have had offers before different ppi same time scale(2000-2003), one being £690.00 with interest being £580.00
Thanks!

You only ever receive a refund of the PPI you actually paid, since this is variable with a credit card there is no way for anyone here to determine whether the offer is "correct" or not. The amount awarded on other complaints is completely irrelevant.0

ok,
Question was if the 8% has been applied to the offer of £430.01?0 -
It's listed in the breakdown you provided above...0

PPI was paid as a % of the balance (seen figures of around 80p per £100 of debt on the card) - the more you had on the card, the more PPI paid and vice versa. If you had 3 cards I would bet my house that you didn't have the exact same balance on all 3 every month in that period - hence why you have different offers. Unless you have proof you paid more, accept the offer.
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
