I had a business line installed 4 years ago, and had to transfer an out of area number to that line, which caused more trouble than it was worth as i had to have voip. I was told at the time i had to have a set tarrif as it was business. My monthly bills range from £40 to £60 but i do now make more calls to mobiles. I recieved notification that charges were going up a few months back. Novembers bill was £67 which i accepted, decembers was £102 which shocked me. I called to pay and asked about the charges. I was then told i could pay £10 a month for unlimited calls (mobiles included) plus line £24. So, my question is, was i miss sold the wrong contract to start with? IF i was offered this at the start i could have saved £20 to £30 a month! Was it my fault for not asking?

You are not mis-sold by agreeing to a dearer contract. It's up to you (and you alone) to find the most cost effective deal.0 -
This deal might not have been available at the time you signed up. It is very necessary to check every few months what the current deals are as something better always comes along. Inclusive calls to mobile numbers from landlines will become commonplace in the next year or so.0
