Handtrucks Triple Wheel or Single?

Hi All,

I'm looking to buy a hand/sack truck truck for moving boxes etc up some steps into a house. I can see there are a couple types, including the single wheel and the triple wheel types. The triple wheels are supposed to be better for going up staircases, but I'm not sure whether they are any good or if they just get in the way.
Has anyone used these types, do you really find a tripple wheel design easier up steps like these:

Looking for any real life experiences please :)

Suppose it depends on what you want to move, how heavy it is and how fit you're feeling.

With those steps I'd go with Tri wheels

    (money saving link) ;)

eta: just remembered, the 3 wheelers are a little more difficult to turn because they have 4 wheels on the floor in normal use, but for going up n down stairs they're much better.

Having used the tri-wheel ones quite a bit I have found it is easier to do multiple trips with a normal hand truck.

Tri-wheel ones are only any good on the steps themselves, elsewhere they are a pig to steer because with two wheels on the ground at each side they always want to go straight. Also because of non-pnuematic tyres then all unevenness gets transmitted through to your hands and your goods without any cushioning.. Also it tends to get stuck on the smallest of surface unevenness.

I now use a Handy Folding Sack Truck from Amazon

I don't mind about turning corners, hopefully I will just be using it to go from the van outside straight up those steps
