  • Dear Bobo09,

As a previous Richer Sounds customer, I thought I would give you my five pence worth, and then you can make your own informed decision.

I bought my first decent CD Player from there about twenty years ago. I took along some of my own music and listened to it in the Store, without being under any pressure. At the time RS were selling the player I bought and its accompanying Digital To Analogue Convertor. I asked just how different the two would be, and heard what another £200 would give me at the time. Six months later I returned and bought the DAC to go with my CD.

Wind forward about ten years and my Subwoofer, bought from another supplier gave up. So back onto RS again, to speak to a guy in one of their Stores, named Muttley, I kid you not! He recommended a Subwoofer to me, saying that if I didn't like it, I could return the item under their Satisfaction Guaranteed Policy. I can tell you I never went back with it, as he was spot on!

So, wanting a new AV Receiver a couple of years back, I went to another of their Stores and ended up with the Onkyo TX-NR525. Having brought it home and plugged it in, I never again looked back. So I can assure you that even if you can't get to one of their Stores, their service to you should be excellent.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards

    Simon G
