Where to start dressing this box/bay window?

Hello,
Just been measuring up in our newbuild today and looking at the window in the living room...no idea where to start! Curtains would be our preference but where do you put the pole? Are we limited to short curtains because of the radiator? Or do the curtains go over/in front of the entire bay?
Money will be tight (first time buyers, first time expectant parents..) so can't spend out on a bespoke solution. I've heard Ikea do Kvartal/Hugad for bays which might be an option for the poles/tracks. But can't imagine how/where they'd be mounted to look OK?
I've included pics of the window and inside it.
Many thanks

I'd go for thick, plush roman blinds, made to measure. Not sure if you can get some decent deals online... Looks like you will have to fix to the ceiling because of the dreaded plastic and the dreaded trickle vents.
You don't want to cover the radiator if it's the only one in the room.0 -
We got this for our upstairs bay http://www.polesandblinds.com/integra-premier-hand-bendable-plastic-curtain-track-set-wall-or-ceiling-fix/?colour=White
And went to tracks direct for the downstairs bay.
You may be able to find similar stuff on a Google search.
eta: if using the former, but sure it's properly snapped to the fittings, or it'll fall out the first time you close the curtains!0 -
It looks quite an enclosed area to have full length curtains. I might consider narrow venetian blinds or very thin pull down blinds - the sort you might get in a conservatory.0

Your cheapest/simplest option would be to put a straight pole over the whole window opening and hang either one or two sheers which won't block the heat from the radiator. You can the loop them up to the side if you prefer.0

I'd go for the Roman blinds too. Ask around if anyone could make them for you, they're not that hard to make.Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0

The best option would be made to measure venetian/roller/roman blinds. The person who is going to fit them may have the good ideas, make sure that opening mechanism is not awkward and can tell you about potential problem with each option.
Curtains may be awkward, because you will loose a lot of light from windows or heat from the radiator.
I have similar bay window, but in triangle (not rectangle shape) and there is no radiator there. I struggled a lot with thinking what to do with it and at the end I bought 2 wooden venetian blinds and fitted them myslef.Only thing is I picked very dark colour and it takes away a lot of light from my living room (but otherwise looks great).
