TS, I have been sitting here wondering why on earth they did not let her email it in?

She had to do both, electronic submission (only one shot this time too) and then hard copy posted with receipt showing that it was before the 3pm deadline.

Mhoc. Great to see you. I'd like to say I missed you but the truth is I've missed so much I hadn't noticed you were gone :o I've missed loads. I'm glad you got some time away from your demons and good for you for spotting what and when they appear. I think we all have times like this. Be it dates, circumstances, sights, smells....our brains are just a bunch of buttons waiting to be pressed.

I just got unlucky getting a cold when my immune system was already depleted. And the pesky bacteria entered my body somewhere and took over.
My whole body scan, I think, is more so my consultant can have a proper look at my whole spinal cord. We know the nasties are getting settled there and he wants to see where. it's also a way of him seeing where in my bones the plasma (nasties) cells are in my bone marrow. The biopsies can tell how much of them I've got but not what parts of my body they are targeting and settling in. So it's sort of pre-emptive I hope. Results take 2 weeks and I hope everyone will join me in hoping I hear nothing sooner. Slow news is good news!

I'm up because I'm itching and I'm blaming Ladyshopper. Her hairs have reached Lancashire and have contaminated the water. Luckily I'm not itching in an unladylike like place. I have taken an anti-histamine so at least she gives good advice when she afflicts us all :p :rotfl:
Wouldn't have thought of taking an antihistamine LS so thanks and you know I'm joking

Sorry I spread my itching to you, although am glad the antihistamine suggestion was helping. Weirdly since being on the antibiotics for the staph infection, I've found antihistamine not really helped. Spoke to Dr again today as she said that although there was no thrush showing on the swabs, antibiotics can cause it so if the itching didn't go she'd treat me for that as well. Oh the joy! :o

    Good morning all :)
Hopefully got a meet up today with the lovely Bubbs :) (unless she cancels on me!)
Got a driving lesson today, I'm still absolutely petrified about getting behind the wheel and been learning for 4 months now :( I'm never gonna be able to do it :(
Hope everyone is keeping well and leaving big hugs here for people who need or want one :grouphug:
Hope you had a good meet up. What is it about driving that scares you so much, is it anything in particular you can pinpoint?

I've had a crap day (sorry if this stars out Savvy, I won't know until I try and post it). Spoke to nurses this morning about issues and they suggested taping a catheter in for a couple of days, then trying again.

All fine, did that. Went out as DD had opticians, then had to pick up prescription from Boots that I couldn't get at local chemist. I think catheter must have had a blockage, as most embarassing incident happened, basically the flow bypassed the catheter and came out my belly button. I noticed my t-shirt was wet when I was in the queue, but then suddenly it all came out and was dripping onto the floor. I'm sure you can imagine how mortified I was. Pharmacist was lovely, ushered me to the toilet. Managed to hold the tears in but as soon as I got my prescription I was in floods of tears as I left the store. Didn't help that the woman who had been behind me was just staring at me when I came out the toilet as well. :(

Had to drive home sopping wet, feeling so embarassed and with a face full of snotty tears. :o
