I rarely go for the glitches that N1LDA find, as alot of the stuff I don't need, but I had to go for the Dentastix for my three beasts!:)

As I was there I thought I might as well get the meal deal.
Here are the results. The spend was £15.20 and the apg was £8.76.:):)

The main thing they missed out on their shop for me, which would have been better than the Cucumber, was a Tenderheart Cabbage. I wouldn't have bought the Skittles pack myself:rotfl:.

(What I would have bought, though, at the right time - and did so earlier - was a Skittles pouch (well over twice the amount they got) for 43p in M:T. That was a Skittles Darkside limited edition - still much the same product inside the bag - a seasonal bag bought just after Hallowe'en and also other Hallowe'en-themed bags bought immediately after that was out of the way:T:j. In fact, I would not put it past a very rare M indeed to have one or two of those on their regular sweets aisle even now. If so, I've yet to see it, but I would not put it past the realms of possibility at all. I still have some of those bags - I bought for the entire year ahead! - spent way too much on Skittles that week:rotfl: - still got several left, which I have been trying (and so far with some amount of success:)) to keep away from people consuming them way too soon! Wish me luck for the future on that one:rotfl:.

It's working, just about! I have pushed them off into date order and told them not to go for that box! Unfortunately I have not hidden them completely - I didn't manage to stop them taking a Marshmallows pack bought at 20p after Christmas the other day - in the box to be consumed not until April - but they went and consumed them:(:(!(:rotfl::(:rotfl::rotfl: Not funny though, really, I tell you! I was furious! Especially as a regular Marshmallows pack, bought to replace that now, would be well more expensive! Seasonal products, bought after the season, are now the only way to purchase things like this, I have already decided!)

But this is it though - the thing is people visit supermarkets and buy other things whilst they are there. (:(:rotfl:)

On that, you've spent £6.44 too much! You would not have bought any of that shop at all if you had not been there, and would therefore have kept your £15.20 and not exchanged it for :(£8.76.

Although you did get the products as well!:D I keep expecting everything to be free:rotfl::rotfl:. But, alright, if you would have got the meal deal anyway at some point and would have bought it anyway, then you've certainly saved:T:T.

Fresh veg. is the sort of thing that people regularly buy at the small supermarkets so, as long as they buy enough items;), there might be some helpful items now added to shops for some people from there. It's helped that M has put some of its prices down in that area, although, for people shopping there, the price 'crunch' in relation to the fresh produce isn't really saving them any money as they've been paying well over the odds for some of those items for the last several months IMO!

I think overall, for M shoppers, it works out much the same - and, if they do their full shopping there, they're now paying higher prices on some other items at the same time as getting these fresh produce items and, on the whole, largely just mitigating the overpriced cost of the veg. that they've been paying in M over quite some time before!

(My list, on fresh veg Avs M, did - you'll have noticed - become very sparse in that area recently - as I removed more and more items that M became expensive on. I think I even commented once about how little there then was on the fresh veg. section! M has been really expensive overall in the recent past. Now though at least a lot more is back! (Of course it was always there but no good:rotfl::rotfl:!) And several of it is now cheaper than what it was before, but they're still too expensive on Celery compared to A:rotfl:.)
