afternoon all - not read back yet but it seems like some nastiness has gone on in the night :(

I've got a kind person coming for a freecyle - a bin bag of plastic pots this afternoon so I've been out sorting that out. And tidying the compost bins.

I seem to have Rosemary starting to flower - is this normal? I got 2 plants reduced in B & Q and potted them up in big pots and they have gone through the winter very well, looking very green and sprightly

on the menu tonight I have got sweet and sour chicken - not totally from scratch as that would be above and beyond the call of duty - uncle bens sweet and sour base from Home Bargains and one of the last few Tilda rices - chicken is de frosting, pineapple cubes, onion, red pepper and also some slices of ginger in syrup to jazz it up a bit - not sure what other spices I can add to give it a bit of an edge ...
this is my attempt at taking over the kitchen so after a week of various chicken dishes and salad OH might get the message ..

Shopotize still have my 2 weekend receipts under review so I've got to email them again later..

Do you mean last weekend rather than the weekend just finished?

COS have refreshed the 80p cb on Irn Bru from Superdrug, 3 times regular, 3 times diet

I'm hoping they are still 2 for £1.50 but won't be at a Superdrug for a few days :(

If the offer is still on then it's 6 bottles for a profit of 30p :money:

    I found myself passing a superdrug. The 2 for £1.50 isn't on anymore :(

But you can still get up to 6 bottles for 19p each after cb (18p each if you claim the 1p per receipt lol)

Thanks LEJC. I did the trial for coloured hair with the shampoo and conditioner, I was really impressed with the products and would buy them. Unfortunately I have no idea whose products they are :(

sometimes by looking at the packaging or reading the info sheet you can sometimes find out what they are.....but not always.

I know that with the trials for some companies you can email them with the trial details once the trial is completed and they will respond with details of who's products and what they were, but I have never tried that with alba.....maybe if you still have any of the info from the product you could see if they respond to a query......
I must admit they are one of my favourites at the moment for testing.....
