afternoon all - not read back yet but it seems like some nastiness has gone on in the night :(

I've got a kind person coming for a freecyle - a bin bag of plastic pots this afternoon so I've been out sorting that out. And tidying the compost bins.

I seem to have Rosemary starting to flower - is this normal? I got 2 plants reduced in B & Q and potted them up in big pots and they have gone through the winter very well, looking very green and sprightly

on the menu tonight I have got sweet and sour chicken - not totally from scratch as that would be above and beyond the call of duty - uncle bens sweet and sour base from Home Bargains and one of the last few Tilda rices - chicken is de frosting, pineapple cubes, onion, red pepper and also some slices of ginger in syrup to jazz it up a bit - not sure what other spices I can add to give it a bit of an edge ...
this is my attempt at taking over the kitchen so after a week of various chicken dishes and salad OH might get the message ..

Shopotize still have my 2 weekend receipts under review so I've got to email them again later..

Of course I don't have to be here spending time now posting this, but I'm going to M (and M) after all. I have completed what I needed to do and hopefully won't need to do it again for a while. I just can't be out of the loop with the prices like this. It'll give me something to do this afternoon; otherwise I'd just be sitting here doing nothing! It will be the same work if I go now to if I go on Wednesday - if there's quite some change today, it will be done now rather than done on Wednesday (so Wednesday will then have less to do).

do these Aunt Bessies Yorkshire puddings smell meaty when they are cooking - and when you eat them?

I seem to think I bought some a long while ago and the smell made me fell nauseous so never again

COS is on OHs phone so I've not had a look yet what the new offers are

I deliberately didn't log in this morning before I went out and by the sound of it, I'm glad I didn't. I don't like it when there's disharmony here :( I like it even less when people come "out of the woodwork" to stir things up even more :(

We all have our own problems. I know that for me, the Elite has helped me get through some pretty tough times, some I've openly discussed on here and some I haven't.

It would be a crying shame if people didn't get the support they sometimes so desperately need because they've been made to feel that they're wrong to post about it.

We are generally a supportive bunch through good times and bad times. Let's not take away from that :)

No disharmony, no one coming out the woodwork just people who lurk only due to a very opinionated few, ok 1. Nerf is doing his best to bring it back as one big happy family! God help us all.

I agree, people should be able to post for support whether its affecting them or someone they know without judgement and long may that continue.

Like Nerf said, it's a new day and a new month.

bubbs I know what it's like - I often get anxious in advance of things that don't give me the answer immediately. Take care.
