I don't usually get involved in anything other than glitching on here. But I do sometimes read through posts if I have the time. Many people share their troubles and are supported. I have seen pics of new babies born, discussions about people who are suicidal, children who have disabilities, others stressing out about MILs from hell!

Not once have I seen someone attacked for sharing their troubles, worries or happy times because it might infringe on the privacy of someone else. How ridiculous. And to echo DeeDee, how hypocritical.

Keep sharing people if it helps you to do so.
