Morning, the Quorn and kids yogurts have now updated.

Small glitch on the Irn Bru as the multibuy 2 for £1.50 is ending today in A.

    http://groceries.asda.com/asda-webstore/landing/home.shtml#/promotion/ls86702

Unfortunately not really any good comparisons - 91p each in Morries, so APG would see £2.40 v £1.82.

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?query=irn+bru&store=ASDA

COS have refreshed the 80p cb on Irn Bru from Superdrug, 3 times regular, 3 times diet

I'm hoping they are still 2 for £1.50 but won't be at a Superdrug for a few days :(

If the offer is still on then it's 6 bottles for a profit of 30p :money:

And while we are talking about cancer after my holiday last year, me and my wife got home to bad news, her mum and my
mum told us they both had cancer, my wife's mum looks like she will be ok and my mum has it pretty bad and not much more they can do with it, I however don't really like to talk about it and I understand others do.

I think that's what I have learned the most about this place and while I don't like to talk about it, I understand others do.

Very sad bubbs, Cancer is a nasty! I just hope one day it will be easy treated but until this happens it's very sad.

This has touched a nerve for me. :o

Me and OH got back from honeymoon to be told his mum had breast cancer, had been kept from us while we were planning and celebrating our wedding. It's such a long time ago now but sure we came home to her in hospital. :(

After brief remission of around 2 years she was diagnosed with secondary and at the same time my mum was diagnosed with primary breast cancer too. So I have real empathy for you it was an awful time.

Wishing your family much strength through these difficult times. :A

HJ I caught the quote :o no words just positive thoughts coming your way xx
  • good morning all

after just reading last nights post with great sadness,i just wanted to add my thoughts.

fc hinted that she had been told that she did not have long left in this world and by posting about bubbs it has given her a huge amount of attention,of course not positive yet still attention ..which she knew it would generate.

a nice post gets a few thanks, a fc" in my opinion" post gets a huge reaction.

I just feel fc is feeling the depth of despair / fear/anger, and by posting the way she does she will have left a huge mark on this thread with "her opinions" and maybe that's what she wants...she will never be forgotten

i'm not saying I agree with what she said because I don't,bubbs you are a lovely kind poster and should not have been made to feel you were wrong to post,it is up to you what you decide to share:A

but all we know is what fc chooses to tell us, and if it is all true we should feel empathy even if it is hard.

I know you will probably disagree with this post fc but its just "my opinion ":o

sorry I know I don't usually post but just felt I had to say this.
