Good afternoon lovely people I am back :j

we had a nice week away and as usual I went off line apart from a sporadic glance at FB and stilted conversations with various offspring

I have loads to tell you after I have caught up with the miserable backlog of spam emails and the online banking and the usual domestic drudgery etc ...

but I firstly tell me all of your news - and you also moved house again
You missed a super dooper glitch at Tesco on their £5 frozen meal deal. Apart from that not too much else been happening. Hope you've had a good week?

and incase anyone was having a worry about me, yes over the new year I was having a very major dip, a lot of family stuff going on that I did not have any influence or control over

but by the middle of the last week I felt much better, things resolved themselves as they have a habit of doing - there was nothing I could do to influence things anyway

but during one of those middle of the night moments I realised that I am always at a low ebb at this time of the year, looking back over maybe the last 15 years, major life events have always happened to us in January/February. I think I just need to get all of this angst out of my head and down on paper so I can make some sort of sense of it all and then draw a line under it.

and then knowing that I am inevitably going to feel depressed at this end of the year I can formulate coping strategies and just wade through it all

but yes I am feeling much more positive than I was :T

Good evening, rhos have you a Facebook page for the cafe, these days most people will look there and it's a great way to promote special functions, Easter Halloween etc.

Yes we have 2 facebooks , thanks xx not sure why 2, I have put a few bits on but it needs to be updated . and need to get others to comment, and give ideas and suggestions.

This is what I was going to suggest. How many people like the page rhos? A great way to get more page likes is to run competitions offering I don't maybe a free afternoon tea. To enter the competition they must like and share the post AND like the page and then every post you make hits lots more timelines.
I did this when I started my new job. The page had 157 likes and now it's up to 660.
I would also recommend that you post daily pictures of cakes you've baked etc and get people to start chatting on there.
If you make healthy meals post about it with calorie content and then you should get people tagging their friends in and then you are reaching more people.
If people do a Google search then they will find you Facebook page, in my opinion that's all you need.
    Good luck.
