Oh flip pin' heck that's not good. He'll have to make sure he's at home when they come to collect this one and deliver the new, right one
It's a small company and there is a handling charge etc to return and it has to be in perfect condition but he has just had to drag it to move it from side of house. And he knows he scratched it getting around the corner of the house.
It was his mistake as he couldn't get the correct measurements to work when he was ordering and he was on the "clear" page but he thinks when he went back in he must have gone to the "opal" page link. He said he must have got excited over how much he was saving compared to buying it from somewhere like Wickes or a local company he got a quote from it was over a £100 saving.
Live and learn think he will have to use it and see how the plants grow under it. The clear would have let 76% light in the opal only lets 48%.
He is walking around muttering to himself now saying "What an idiot." At least he is now not ranting over my inadequacy in moving it.0 -

That's not good hope you are not going down with something. Hope it eases soon. Have you tried taking paracetamol and having some honey and lemon. x0 -
Email from Clinique to say they have Happy Hour today from 10 till 3, with 3 free samples with every order.
I'm intrigued with their notion of 5 hours counting as one hour. maybe we should run the world on a Clinique clock. That would make me just 12 and a quarter years old. No bills, no worries and the freedom of the borough on a shiny green bike, as I recall.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
TS you'll just have to give him a wide berth whilst he settles down. At least it was his fault  thankfully you did not do the ordering otherwise I guess the air may have been bluer :eek::)There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

Oh he tried that one blaming me that I was trying to get him to save money. :rotfl:
He wanted it in a whole sheet which Wickes could not supply and the local company quoted a price and I was  at how much just a roof for the green house he is building would cost.
Especially when he already has the glass to fit it but he wanted something with better insulation properties. So I was the one who sent him to look for another supplier online so that was my fault. He is not used to shopping like me.
Decision made he is going to use it and see how well things grow and we may have to rethink next year if it doesn't work out. :cool:0 -

I would rather share with people that are willing to go out and test things then share most of it with people that "will sit and wait for others to test" no offence.
Its about coming together and working as a team. :T
