  • Apparently my replacement freezer will be delivered on Tuesday.

I will believe it when I see it.

9.45am and I can hardly keep my eyes open  too much late , late tv :). 1am every night going to bed for over a week is catching up with me :o. I am no longer a youngster and must start to remember that :o :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm the same! Just woken up to a stone cold cup of tea my dh brought me up but too tired to drink. Too late for breakfast so it'll have to be brunch. Hang my head in shame, last night's dishes to wash up. (A good excuse,, went straight out with no time but too lazy when I got home.) Collect dgs from school at 3, dinner, take him home & the day's gone. Not good. I need to break the cycle.

 I have just had to help a delivery guy bring in to garden an approx 3.5m x 2m sheet of polycarbonate in the wind, was like a blooming sail.

Mad with Mr TS as he knew delivery was due and they said late morning/lunchtime but he went out on his bike as according to him 11am delivery is not late morning but mid morning. Well it's late morning in the real world I am sure.

Now my hands are shaking and hurting because of the strain and I am meant to be driving us somewhere tomorrow. Why could he not just have stayed at home no way could the delivery guy have controlled it on his own although not sure I was much help. :o It wasn't heavy but trying to battle against the wind to get it through the little gate was a nightmare. :(

Rant over :o As you were please. :)
  • A friend has spotted a glitch! (I think?)

Lurpak is £3 each, 2 for £4 in Asda but, on the comparison its full price at £6. They're 2 for £4 in Tesco and Sainsburys / £2 in Morrisons so if its still working it will compare to all.

    £6 / £4 = APG of £2.40. cost 2 for £4 so £1.60 for two?

But, its been 2 for £4 for a while in Asda so how is it glitching? This is the results from yesterdays shop and the pic of the receipt showing the offer

Morning all but technically it will be afternoon before I press submit.

more wind and storms - hate them.

present wrapping and bed making to do so I wont be back to catch up until much much later and Ronnie has amused himself by pulling tufts out again so yet more vaccuming - visitor due in the morning :j

this is the 3rd day this week the postie has not been - honestly what do we pay them for :rotfl:

    a question before I go.
Has anyone managed to get compensation for disruption of water supply out of united futilities or any of the other water companies?
we had yet another red card through the door this morning, the 4th now in just over 2 months
so I read the standard of services pdf on their website and even though I am not totally convinced I thought it worthwhile to write an email listing dates and times etc. One of the disruptions we was def not given the 48 hours notice you are supposed to have.

I know a long while ago we did get automatic compensation from an electric company as we were always loosing power and this is supposed to be automatic as well but most automatic things are not..
