Savvybuyer wrote: »But the answer that I want to know is whether - obviously they paid £2.89 for their roast potatoes (and £1.50 for the Herby Tomato Veg.) - but did you manage to get back any of the difference for them? Or did they pay so much less on some items that they ended up paying A's shelf price on all the items they bought (including the roast potatoes for £2.89:eek:) and, even if they'd checked the receipt (which they haven't), they'd have no voucher?

Aldi Specialbuys Fruit trees £3.49
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/aldi-specialbuys-fruit-trees-3-49-2384347
Why bother with that?:rotfl: £3.49 more than I need! But, whilst I'm putting money into Mr A - like a couple of pence and a load of printed vouchers:rotfl: - I have saved (I think! - I hope:rotfl::o) at "other supermarkets" (including ones that aren't "others" included in TBG) today - I got some apples (8 pack) at T for 69p (not available in A) and some different apples (8 pack) and oranges (7) on the "Super6" in Aldi at 59p. At least they are well below prices that Mr A expects on similar things! At least I hope those oranges work out cheaper:rotfl: - maybe less than the bigger packs that A wants to charge more in actual money for! I only went for some bread:rotfl: - wanted some Wholemeal which A no longer seems to have and didn't think worthwhile doing a comparison for 40p vs 40p when Aldi is 36p straight - so ended up spending 59p x2 more than I was going to!:rotfl::rotfl: However, at least I now have my fruit sorted and for probably a lot cheaper than A!:)0 -

Dentist update.
Go to dentist to sort bit of tooth that had chipped off the massive filled hole from December's root canal.
All good says dentist, it just needs a crown.
Dentist taps it, "this feel fine?"
me "no, it feels tender".
dentist: Oh. that's a shame. Maybe the root is still infected.
more antiobiotics and the chances of the tooth being saved are reduced.
my 15 year 2 month old jack Russell has just lost her 2 front lower teeth.0 -
Ah bless you tweets hope you feel better soon ...shame you can't stay home in the warm for the weekend instead of going to Mum's ...you don't want to give it to her if she will be starting her treatment anytime soon'
You wont believe this but I rang her earlier and sneezed on phone  Mum says what was that and I said sorry I sneezed I have a sore throat and a cold and her answer was oh so its you whose given me this cold .
Now I don't know if she's got a cold or not but I certainly cant have given it her since I last saw her Sunday

Wondering if there have been more changes to online ordering? Munqui's RTC items appeared full price on this delivery receipt, despite being cheaper instore. And my yogurts+actimel appeared full price (no multi-buy) despite the multibuy working instore (on at least the yogurts).
I hope the system isn't moving towards charging what you see online?
I had a weird experience today too
I ordered 2 different palmolives and they charged me £2.19 for the ones they had in stock despite them being RTC £1 instore
As if that wasn't odd enough what they did with the subs was weirder
One was delivered in full, but some of the 2nd scent were substituted for imperial leather and more of the first palmolive
The imperial leather were charged at £2 (and this was shown as a saving against the £2.19 order price) but the Palmolive were charged at £1 .
So I only got the RTC price on the delivery note for the ones that were offered to me as subs. It meant I had 2 different prices for the same item
Did anyone else order any RTC items today?
ETA: APG is in and results are all good

The quorn and split pots are both showing incomplete for me as well. They weren't at 12.15 because I stayed up to check.
Thank you sal:ALOL TM, could you not try to pass them off to Ozwald as squirrel :rotfl:
Well it wasn't for the want of trying. I've been about as much use as a chocolate fire guard today:o
I logged on after lunch to double check the Quorn glitch and decided to have a meeting near an A:rotfl: Found 3 packs:o and none at the next A either.
I also intended to try the Goodness Shakes protein drinks which you mentioned this morning Izzey ....may have compared to M. Neither A sold them.
So a bit of a washout:o
Still I found a womble for 89p:T:TTo do is to be. Rousseau
