Wonderful news for you rose, another granddaughter on the way :T :)

Is it me or does anyone else think that they'd rather nit know what's on the way. Personally I'd rather the arrival be a surprise.

Of course I understand that in some cases, such as medical reasons, the sex of the unborn needs to be known :)
    congrats rose :T
when i had my first they wouldn't tell you but found out with my other 2 & glad i did as i was desperate to have a girl & finding out gave me time to get my head round the fact that i was having boys before they were born :o

    morning
after a stressful day yesterday my car is now no longer at VW & now is at mr clutch being repaired so thanks dm for posting the link :T
after receiving 4 £4 of £20 spend vouchers for S's to use over january they've now sent me another 6 this morning :j:j & also received a £10 off voucher with no minimum spend from the white company :j:j much better than the normal bills i receive in the post :rotfl::rotfl:

Are you on the white company's mailing list - I just wondered if this was why you got a voucher in the post?
I had a look at their dressing gowns online before the phantom Superdrug ones but they were still a bit dear, even the sale ones and I was also a bit worried about the quality
Eldest child's BF buys gifts from places like Harrods, house of Fraser etc so if I buy her any gifts now it has to have a label -( nothing wrong with the Primark waffle dressing gown I've gift though :) !

Postie brought my jacket that I ordered from Unuque21, cost 99p plus £3.99 postage :). Also got 2 DVDs @1p each and postage £1.26 each.

Ted Baker Lipstick and nail varnish set @ £15 reduced from £50 at Mr Shoes online I collected on Tuesday. 6 of each in a pretty presentation box, looks gorgeous, I may keep this for myself :o
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Is some ways I would have liked a surprise but it seems nowadays everyone wants to know. She said she was not going to tell anyone for a week or so but could not resist telling me. They have chosen some names for both sexes but are going to keep that secret so there will be some surprise.

I very much like the idea of the gift boxing - the charge extra for this do you know? You don't mind paying. A bit of a premium if things come nicely wrapped up.
OK so I will sign up - it seems a bit like the converted Boden £10 vouchers :)

Does anyone who uses FB messaging find that it tends to default to the most recent one at the top of the list - it keeps happening to me so I know it's not been being fluffy headed

The one I speak most to via FB messaging and using the iPad is eldest son. If I send messages to either of the others it often goes to him instead - numerous times this has happened. So eldest son gets weird random messages meant for one of the others despite me being very careful who I click on.

I messaged youngest son last night about winterwatch that is coming from the Cairngorms that he might be able to view on bbc iplayer - that one ended up going to eldest son instead.

Also youngest son moved rooms this week. On his FB page it said it took him 5 hours to move yards as he had so much stuff - a right pack rat.
So I messaged him to say send me pictures of his new room.

Eldest son got that message as well so he sent me a photo of an open barred prison cell :rotfl:

Do many people read the Elite on their mobile? It's easy to read using the modern forum skin but the one annoyance is very long first post on every page. (It's the only downfall of the new skin).

My question, have we ever considered putting most of that info in post 2 (instead of post 1) so it's there at the beginning of every thread but not every page?

    Just a thought!

    good shout!

  • Morning , getting the ump on big time and need to chill out, so thought I would write on here.
Problems with my crap heat pump system, bloke is trying to fix it, now telling me it's not the gas and I need to have my heating on 24/7 if I want 19 deg in my house, how is that correct. 19 degrees if I'm lucky. So I'm spending £50 quid a week for a cold house... Wish my husband was here with me...
