Have you all been shopping? I know bubbs hasn't, she's been home cooking. Under a week to go now bubbs :)

I've been very busy decluttering today aj:D

I'm now left with 2 massive bags full to the top of mostly personal stuff....old bank statements and the like. I think we will have to have a fire and get rid of it all.

I did have a trip to A and will post my shop soon:)

Also got the mini pedi thing out of the box and, despite mixed reviews, I am really impressed:T

I always put reduced stuff through in a separate shop as can never remember :o:o

That's what I usually do- but DH was with me and he usually goes to A on way home from work and several times has put rtc in the same basket and said 'it will be ok !!' oh well never mind...
At least as a small consolation I was able to claim 75p back on shopit:)
  • Haven't done any shopping all weekend. OH sis and kids came down so been with them.

Going through my wardrobe to try and and get mine and OH's clothes in one so I can get rid of the wardrobe in the hall, so I can then move the HUGe blanket box from the top of the stairs and have more light :)

He has finally agreed. We live in his Gran's house and she had a lot of stuff with extra everything

Not doing too well this weekend. I thought I'd share my latest mistake. I changed my phone & broadband package to Plusnet before Xmas, the first time in years. I discovered last week I'd missed loads of messages on the phone so collected an expensive new phone set yesterday believing my answerphone was caput. I've spent all day today trying to get the new system up & running only to just discover Plusnet have their own voicemail service & the message bank was full. How stupid am I!! I thought the different ringtone I got when making a call was a fault with the phones, didn't realise it was to inform me I had messages. I can't be trusted with anything I've decided.
I didn't say at the time but when I left my choc log out of the freezer (I was ok thank goodness), my dh discovered I'd also left the whoopsied profiteroles out as well.
Didn't make these sort of mistakes when younger & working. Retired with more time & Oh Dear!!! What will be next I ask myself?

Question for Zippy if he is about.
    P&O.
Didnt you used to get 4x cc value? As just had a look and its now 3 times :(
Also, can you use it against an early saver fare? I have looked at T&C, but cant see anything saying I cant.

It was x3 when I booked last year about 3 months before we went to France :)

Thank you. I did go to the Drs to get something to relax me and they gave me Diazepam. I almost couldn't have my tooth done though I had rang to check it was ok which it was, I wasn't told that i was supposed to go down in the morning to sign the consent form and then back home to have the tablet as you aren't allowed to sign when you're off your face on drugs lol. Luckily (or not) the Diazepam did absolutely nothing!!! I had 2 different drs come to check if I was lucid enough to sign. The nurse couldn't believe I had some!!:rotfl:
It did nothing:eek: My mam told me later my Dad has to have 80mg before it affects him.

They gave me 3 locals injections in my mouth and I couldn't feel a thing (I only had 1at my actual dentist tight a%^e) The tooth all came out in one piece and I've brought it home
I was so pleased to hear you'd got your tooth out successfully but a bit of a b.... the meds didn't do anything. If in future it happens again hopefully the doc will give you more altho' now you've had one out successfully you'll probably be fine. I really felt for you as I had a tooth removed recently but mine are brittle. It broke into 12 pieces. I didn't feel anything though.

This time next week i will be :j:j:j:j i did clean the mirrors and hoover too, but think i need to buy a new f/freezer for inside, so we did go and look at curry's but got to be a specific size as built in with matching cupboard doors on the front, but i may get a free standing one we need to measure accurately:p

Good luck in finding what you want bubbs :). Brought back a memory of my mother buying a washing machine when she moved into a bungalow. I told her WE would have to measure the gap first. Did she listen? Did she heck, ruddy thing wouldn't fit in, had to get Currys to take it back and bring us a slimline one

I just haven't done a thing today (lazy mare) just spent afternoon sorting out email accounts. My account for surveys is shocking  I have neglected all surveys for most of last year, only done one or two here and there. A certain Co. that can't be mentioned emailed me a couple of weeks back to ask did I want to continue with them  errr yes I do thank you :)

Two drawers under ds3s old bed has loads of my clothes tucked away, items were not worn last year  so, charity shop here I come. Well, when I get round to opening them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Better go and do a quick catch up me thinks, coffee is ready, so off I go

    See you all later X
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
