It might show differently on the receipt if it was a manual override. But I don't shop in As often enough to know. :o

I have happily had reduced cakes and ready meals that haven't affected my APG but I am talking a long time ago.

If it is red label reduction in A (requires a manual price over-ride by the assistant), it does show on the APG at the reduced price, so don't do it. If in doubt, buy reduced items separately to avoid any unexpected comparisons.

The Lindt Selection (445g) is showing £14 online. Just to check that it's not available on RTC in anyone's A store? Because it is on RTC in M - £5!
I think it is going to be a very long shot to get that to compare (if it's really RTC in A and I've no idea about that as I only look at M) but, if it's much cheaper than £14 (and cheaper than £5!) instore in A then it could be worth trying - you never know, nothing's impossible, they might have been in the right store and picked up the M item. So, check the real price in A instore next time and, if it's a lot cheaper than £14, maybe have a go.

I've put it onto the list, where I've made my comments on the assumption that people would have to pay £14 in the first place. Note it's an assumption! It could be wrong (and probably often is!).

I don't like to be beaten. :rotfl:

I haven't tried to do anything with DD2's Navman yet as I am hoping it may just be a drying out issue and be ok in couple of weeks, part of the screen is responsive now, nothing when she first tried it. Just not the bottom that you need to click to get to the next bit.

She has gone out and bought a holder for her phone as she is back up to uni next week.

I do have a cheap £30 sat nav stashed from Ts, (really for DD3 when ever she gets around to learning) it's not a make I remember off hand and did offer to sell that to DD2. ;) We bought the navman originally with lifetime maps as an extra present the xmas after DD2 passed her test and she has never bothered to update the maps and we bought her the protective bag to keep it in which obviously she didn't. So I'm not happy and not just giving her the other one!
