TS, can you not just use the sat nav on one of your phones? Most phones have one on now, google maps or the like.

Thanks DM yes DD2 can use her phone but I guess I am old school a phone is a phone and a sat nav a sat nav. :o

Just wasted couple hours of my life trying to sort out my old Tom Tom for her to no avail. :( I am ok though as when mine broke couple years back I happened to have a new Tom tom live one stashed a Halfords glitch from here. I'm sure I mentioned it at the time. :)

First hurdle was I can't remember password for my account, so got link sent and every time I tried it said password failed. I then thought maybe I didn't have an account even though I get emails so tried creating a new one and it said already exists. So set up account with DD2's email. It's gone through all the motions of the trouble shooting removing the application and updating everything except for forking out for new maps. And then it says it will restart device and it just disconnects without me clicking anything to disconnect it. Now whether that is because at the end of the day it is actually linked to my account I don't know.

I hate when electronics break down and you are left with an unusable brick what a waste. :(

Morning (at least to me) all from sunny California :)
Not sure whether I'm coming or going at the moment after a long and horrible flight yesterday. I've been awake since silly o'clock and it's STILL too early for breakfast, so I've been having an elite catchup and enjoying last night's choons. Here's one from me:

I'm hoping my hotel room will have a nice view but it's still dark so I don't really know yet lol. Reason for being here is work related but that will only take up a small amount of time so looking forward to some sun, sightseeing and shopping before heading home (although I was a bit extravagant in the duty free shopping at the airport, so will mainly have to be the window kind)

    HG

    Work and play. :T

That's exactly what we thought, usually we buy rtc items separately but didn't on this occasion:(

Coco pops 800gr yellow sticker £1.80 on receipt show up as cereal 505008354528 £1.80D

so we will try and claim on shopit for coco pops

10 items (9 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison

    Asda v morrisons

    1x Baxters Veggie Carrot & Coriander (400G) £1.09 £0.50
1x Vimto Mixed Fruit Squash No Added Sugar (1LT) £1.85 £1.00

    1x Barratt Flumps (12G) £0.10 £0.10
Comparison total (compared products only) £12.33 £9.06
    +£3.27 cheaper

I actually think I know the answer to this, was it actually a red RTC sticker the one where the SA have to peel back and scan the original barcode then reduce price manually on till as these do show on APG. It is usually the way grocery reductions are done.

The fresh produce (meat, bakery and veg) that have yellow RTC labels that scan are ok they do not show on APG. HTHs.
  • Hi there
I think you can see from my posting history I have been here for almost five years and only post when I can make a positive contribution. I have no alliance to anyone here... if you treat me nicely I will respond in the same way but nerfdad has for quite a while now been making nasty thinly veiled comments about people on the night shift he doesn't get on with and I don't like it. It's that simple , no need to exaggerate just wanted to state the facts.

Thank you.....Like you, I have no alliance to anyone and do hope that any comments I make do not offend...If they do I would like to think that I am told so....

I'm new to this thread......but I have to come to Nerfdads defence...... I have not found his comments nasty or offensive........his comments have been, if anything, quite humourous. And, I would imagine that is how he would portray them to be........If his comments do offend then, we all can choose not to stay on this thread........We all read and see things from a different viewpoint.....I welcome your comments but perhaps a little exaggerated......Are we not here to help each other.......I do hope this is the case.......:A

Totally Agree, Hes our comedy guy on #bwtfyl none of his comments are nasty or offensive.. I say hes our comedy guy because he is usless at glitching.

He is obviously having a hard time at home at the moment, and to be fair, he does have a lot of personal problems that must be very difficult to cope with in his life, and this seems to be his way to mentally avoid them I guess, by goading others. If it helps him, then so be it.

Hard time? maybe he just enjoys the banter.. I think your just about to win the wooden spoon again :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Nerfy, if you do have personal issues.. keep them off here.. :p:p
