If you just briefly saw me refer to a "Fudge freshener" and wondered what that was, it's a Fridge freshener! Blame my handwriting again:rotfl::rotfl:.

I was at A earlier on my journey and using an APG at the SS. Obviously must be one where people here have been using APGs and SAs checking them. Before I could even get ready to pay, the SA at SS (who had seemed quite far away) noticed I had a voucher in one hand and pounced upon me! They were quick! Noticed it from a mile away! I just handed it over, they scanned it and the receipt and then took the voucher and receipt away, leaving me to pay the (small) balance in cash. Oh well, I shall never be in that store ever again:rotfl:.

Alright, I have got to go. I will be putting lots of items, that I haven't been able to mention here, onto the M list later!

There's unanimity on the loose broccoli - all the stores I saw on Saturday had it at £1.36/kg. So, I don't think it is £1/kg after all.

    Bye for now:):wave::wave:.

Thank you Savvy - has Chupa Chups Shootz been tested as a trigger please? And are they and Blackjacks picked up for M as they weren't a while ago (still getting through Fruit Salad from last year, AvT though :D).

    Many thanks

    Anon

Sorry, just catching up (...after I should have gone:rotfl:).
The Shootz were a trigger at the end of last year and worked as such with Parma Violets which were then on offer in M. The Shootz are still absent from a.com, as far as I can see, so they should still work. The answer is yes they have been tested as a trigger. I do not know whether the price collectors have the Blackjacks or not though.

A similar Tesco brandmatch 'glitch' to the mealdeal so obviously it cant cope with these

Buy 4 pack Heinz beans with free hovis bread (89p) for £2.60 which then compares with Morrisons which has beans at £2 and bread at £1 so giving 49p brandmatch

Not much but every little helps....tested at 7.30

Thanks... but which 8 items do you get for a total of 49p so that you aren't paying T more? You'd need fillers - can't just buy the Beans and add the bread!

Been a trigger for a bit but some stores have them priced without being in the multibuy and i took the gamble it'd work and it didn't.

:(So they've pulled them out of the mbuy.

:(:(Never mind! Thanks for trying:) (they're low value items anyway).

The cheese is now only comparing against Waities.. In store shop

    A v W
    1x Cathedral City Mature Cheddar (350G) £3.00 £2.00
    1x Cathedral City Cheddar Extra Mature (350G) £3.00 £2.00

    A v M
1x Regina Blitz Original XL Single Roll (1 ROLL) £2.35 £1.00[/B
    1x Cadbury Fairtrade Drinking Hot Chocolate (250G) £1.99 £1.00

:(What are they doing with their price collection? First the turkey mince goes, now the cheese:(. I'm crossing the turkey mince off the M list - I'm gather it still works against T - is it just Mature and Extra Mature failing against M or all of them?

On another matter, the Turkey Leg 1.6Kg in M was still £3 yesterday (Saturday).

It looks like some people have looked at themselves and realise sometimes it's better to say nothing if you can't say anything nice :T:T
  • Morning All Just back from Oz after a mammoth journey home as we had a 9 hr layover at Hong Kong. A bit scary there as everyone was wearing masks and they kept making announcements about reporting to Port Health or Doctors if you had any of a long list of symptoms even gave DS had a random temp check. Thought there must have been an outbreak of something while we had been on an 8 hr flt up from Oz.

Hope everyone is doing ok - off for a quick read back to catch up on the news as well as checking for a few glitches - cos broke after hols!
