Bassett's Jelly Babies Carton, 460g, 50p:D in M. According to the SEL I've seen in one store earlier today.

:(I thought 75p was a good price and bought at that price. In fact, I bought three:eek: at that price, to last the whole year and since people in my house already used one full carton up!

75p is a good price. It's just that 50p is somewhat better.

The only consolation is that there was no stock at all in any of the stores I've visited. I hope:rotfl:. I think the trick is finding a store that never put the price onto them in the first place;). Someone will be lucky there - I bet there are stores with a load at £1.50, or even £1.96, showing - or even no pricing on the shelf whilst people pick the £1.96 Allsorts and Heroes cartons around them:rotfl: .

There is also a lot of Christmas Frosting, of both colours, available in at least one M store and I suspect they might still have some for some time to come:rotfl:. Store SELs say 50p (they've not even put the 25p SEL onto them:huh: let alone the 10p) but I reckon they are 10p given that they are showing that in a lot of other stores (which, usually, don't have stock or don't have much stock). There is also a third version I discovered today:eek: - a black one. However, the beggars in one store - on the RTC shelf - wanted 15p for that:eek:!

Much much more! I have found the Savers Disposable Razors at 18p:rotfl:. I told you I suspected they were still around somewhere and indeed there are!:D Which comes as no news at all to anyone who has them in their M, where they have been all along, and saw me deleting them off the list months ago and wondered why, only to have me adding lots of items in the last few weeks none of which are in your store:rotfl:.

I have also found my Zebra Print Ring Binder - again it disappeared from the one remaining store near to me that had it before I could get my hands on its final RTC price - I've now found one although it is 78p rather than 68p. The 18p Drawing Pins tubs are available somewhere too - I only had a SEL before and no stock, but I have now found stock in two separate stores. (That's unusual as I have not found any in any of the numerous stores I've been to before today, so I think you will be lucky if your M does have them.) Again, no surprise to anyone whose store does have them:rotfl:.

And, from a third store, I have the Keep It Handy 3 pack Microfibre Cloths at 48p:D. In fact I've just got back here, emptied my bag and I've bought some very useful items indeed:rotfl:. The Microfibre Cloths appeared on one of my collection days in one of my three regular Ms - but I if'd and ah'd a little too much - I didn't want to spend too much money so I resisted:rotfl: - after getting home, I thought they would be very useful and was going to buy them on my next visit. However, they had completely disappeared! So, for those of you that saw me adding them on one Wednesday last year, only to delete them the following Monday, and wondered why they made this brief appearance and were continually in your store... I've been N/A:( but I am back now!:D I would not expect them to be around in too many stores given that it has taken me over 50 stores before I have found them! When I wasn't looking for them:rotfl:. They are still stocked by M though. Of course!

Maybe I'll visit my local store next week and find they have got them back in stock:rotfl::(. That could happen - it could be they have been OOS but M has now only just brought them back and that they're slowly working their way into more stores. It's a possibility - I've had that with the Savers Mandarin Pieces (more expensive than equivalents elsewhere, even Sains:eek:) and the Savers Meatballs in Tomato Sauce (a lot of the stores in which I've seen them though do not have a price showing for them yet, so I do not expect it to be picked up by the APG). I don't think it will be a case of this though - I reckon this is in stock continually in the places that still have stock and isn't coming back and being rolled out. I also have some Pumpkin Seeds (plant by some date well beyond Hallowe'en this year) at 25p (again they made a brief appearance when seemingly more widely available before, probably at 48p:eek: RTC! - but it's the stores (few I suspect) that still ended up with stock and never cleared them).

So, it may be these items that have remained in your M that I am adding, whilst you can't find any of the other stuff around at all:rotfl::rotfl::(.

There are lots of things I've found today. The Astonish Deicer Trigger (500ml) is still in stock in at least one store - a cheer for that item!:D I know T went onto 28p on some deicer somewhere, that beat the price of this trigger (48p:wall:) but, these old favourites, we do have to cheer for them!;):rotfl:

And they've even got some of the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Bathroom Cleaner at 99p somewhere! These items are all available in "M". (That was the C&C item, much more expensive price on A online, that was being compared to low M price on the APG - although I don't think we got as low as that before A went completely OOS online:(.) Even got that still somewhere. As you will well know, if it's your store and it's been there week after week every time you've been there and you've wondered why I wasn't looking at the shelf close enough!:rotfl: Answer - I was in a different store!

Might not quite be putting that back, as buying in M at 99p is going to be worse than C&C comp. from A earlier:rotfl:.

Someone will be lucky on the Jelly Babies though. I will still laugh everytime I now see someone buying one of those 190g pouches at twice the cost:rotfl::rotfl:! In fact, not twice the cost on weight of course... but nearly five times the cost!:eek::rotfl: I suppose you could say that about anything though... we bought a Coke drink in a pub (£2.50:eek:) - for over ten times the cost, for one drink, as buying 24 cans in T would have been! Is that 240 times the cost? Anyway, just a tip on the Jelly Babies carton that, if you don't manage to find it in your store, don't go buying other items whilst you are there that you never went there for! That acts like a proper loss leader there - and the idea is to get you into the store to have you spending far more on other items. Don't do it! That's not money-saving - that's falling for the loss-leader aim. The idea is in, just buy the loss-leader and out! Don't go spending money on other things:D;)!

(It won't be advertised of course, and it's just some RTC stock that happens to be still around (I'm sure) in some stores - many of which have cleared out to people at 75p:(:rotfl::wall::rotfl:. So it's not M's loss-leader as in advertised promoted offer to get people into the stores, but it functions, IMO, in a similar way.)

In fact - the price I've now paid on Jelly Babies is horrible! I bought one as part of the 2 for £2 last September! £1:eek:, when in effect I should have waited until now 50p. So, that's £1.25 lost!!:eek: Even though we did, of course, consume all of that £1:eek: carton well before today!

Lots of items - M list to be updated again soon!

I know - I've just read my post back and I sound like a cat with the cream!:D:rotfl:

I nearly did a little jig on finding the microfibre cloths:rotfl: - I certainly thought "Yes!:D". I've now managed to come across three out of four items I was hoping I might, purely as an unintended result of what I'm doing, and even found a couple of different additional items that will be useful! The Savers Can Opener is still elusive for me:rotfl:. (I'm not specifically going there for it - that would be ridiculous to visit over 50 Ms and travel miles just in search of that... but, if I happen to come across one, whilst I'm doing what I'm already doing...;)) I bet someone has that straight in their M! Of course, :doh:they'll all sell out now I've mentioned it here.

Anyway, I was happy - and de-enriched by 48p just on the cloths:rotfl:.

You lot thank any old rubbish at times:rotfl:. I've noticed I've got a typo. about the Jelly Babies - they are, of course, 460g and not 480g. So, I've just corrected that! Who's to quibble though over them at that price?:rotfl:

Oh, just to mention those of you that use M in Ince, that you have got, IMO, some very good RTC prices on your shelf there today. Probably still be there tomorrow. More later - I've just got a lot of other things to sort out, in RL, first though. Some printer inks at 50p - and other things. A bit of a (store-specific) list later:rotfl:.

Also some of you, elsewhere, still have the Birds Brandy Sauce/Birds Rum Sauce at 50p each. However, be careful to check the specific RTC shelf in your store before paying and getting them at that price - I saw quite some stock today - some cartons were a little battered but others around them looked absolutely fine - at 15p on somewhere's RTC shelf. Don't need to mention stores there as people should therefore check the specific RTC shelf anyway as the same situation might occur in other Ms - so, if you just check your RTC shelf...;) (you never know!). Many of the stores' Christmas items, that were around the baby items and the 'big event in January' aisle or whatever they're calling it, have now, in quite a few stores I've seen, moved onto the store RTC shelves.
