  • Unilever to shrink Magnum and Cornetto in bid to cut calories
Ben & Jerry tubs and Feast will also shrink as multinational moves to bring all single-serving ice-creams below 250 calories

Unilever is to cut the size of British ice-creams including Magnum, Cornetto, Ben & Jerry’s and Feast by up to a third to bring them all under 250 calories.

From the spring, Ben & Jerry’s single portion tubs will be reduced from 150ml to 100ml, a 33% reduction in size. The price, however, will only drop by 26% – from £2.04 to £1.50, according to a report in the trade journal, the Grocer.

There will be smaller drops in the size of other ice-cream treats with a Magnum Almond, the most calorific of the brand’s choc-ices on sticks, dropping from 110ml to 100ml, a Magnum Classic will drop from 120ml to 110ml and just 2ml will be sliced off a Feast Chocolate, taking it down to 90ml.:eek::eek::eek:

    Hope everyone is well...

Yey:j it's the weekend.... Dry January seems to be going on forever... I really fancy a glass of wine tonight but will refrain from falling off the wagon and have a nice cuppa instead;)

Just a quick question... Has the Evian Mr Men water disappeared off everyone's cos please? I was going to go and get it today but it's gone :(

I only noticed today but on the HUKD thread someone pointed out that it changed to "expires in 2 hours" last night

On the plus side it's now free on TCB so for £3.30 you get 9 bottles of water and 367 clubcard points :money:
