You are so right....Aldi here we come ...the only consolation is we still had a voucher for a free pizza and we also used the £1 moc off be,,and we were next door to 'T' having our car fixed whereas Aldi was a 20 mile round trip. But tomorrow is another day:D

Oh well, at least you had the pizza voucher (I hope full £2.50 came off!). I wondered why you paid full T prices if, just after you put the bags number in (I'm learning:D), the price doesn't drop. People know at T now whether something's worked or not prior to being committed to paying?

Given that T overcharged you by £1 on the pizza (compared to A at the moment) because you 'saved' elsewhere, it would have been cheaper to have bought the pizza with 9 different 10p fillers on a separate shop, then done a different shop with all the items you actually got minus the pizza. But then why buy 9 extra fillers and pay 90p? Even if, even shopping in T but on two separate shops there, you could have bought 90p worth of stuff extra (the 9x 10p fillers needed for a new shop) to get £1 discount off (the pizza vs A)! That would have been 'worth' it. But you could, instead of those 9 10p fillers have gone to A and just bought the pizza alone there! However, given that you used a coupon, I suspect you could not have had full £2.50 off in A? Would have been £1.50 payment - then coupon pays that. It may pay to shop in T. But then you need 9 other items that are worthwhile getting - and preferably without paying T money for them (and without shoplifting or breaking any law).

As regards Aldi, 20 miles did seem a little too much to me! However, I notice it's 10 miles each way so maybe it's not that bad! But consider the amount you are paying to travel there. Maybe best to go once every week or combine with other places visited on the route.

Thanks for doing that shop and revealing what T have done! At least the consolation is, presumably, Dr. Oetker are paying £2.50 to T for that pizza for you whereas they would only have paid (A) £1.50 if you had bought at A! So, at least you've de-enriched Dr. O:D:rotfl:.

I like it - maybe we should do more Google clicks on ads to people's websites, to get them to pay Google more? I think it's a few pence per click they 'lose'. Then, again, I don't like the money going to Google and enriching Google instead:rotfl::rotfl:.:p:rotfl:

We didn't go through ss tills as they don't accept coupons as this particular T is at a seaside resort
We did get the full £2.50 off.

I keep saying 'we' but in actual fact it was DH who done this shop I was at work. He now has Fridays off, he passes A and usually pops in on the way home from work, so to spend money on petrol unnecessarily goes against the grain which is the reasoning behind why he went to T

£3 in M although this one not showing on msm. Not very good IMO as I want M to be £2 or below on a small single refill like this. Clean Linen refill is showing M on msm.
